Steve has supported TMT on the DSJV C305 Project for the past number of months, whilst leading a busy safety, environmental and quality consultancy based in Taunton.

Steve has many years experience in the management of H&S policy, strategy and system development, risk management, accident prevention, loss control, auditing, inspection, and business continuity.

Steve has previously worked for Carillion as the Head of Safety & Sustainability for Carillion’s Regional Business and the former Mowlem business in numerous senior HS&E roles providing support to major civil engineering projects including:
  • Dublin Port Tunnel
  • A2/M2 crossing
  • Spinnaker Tower
  • DLR Extension to Lewisham and Canning Town
Steve is an active member of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Health & Safety Committee, and has led CECA’s efforts to develop guidance on Supervisory Competence and represents CECA on the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) members committee.

Steve has a Masters Degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Law and is a Chartered Safety and Health practitioner and a member of the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register.
