Martin is a professionally qualified and experienced manager, with a strong track record in project management, audit, inspection and challenging value for money in the public and private sector.

Martin started work in local government in 1986 and has undertaken numerous senior corporate roles since then.

Working for the Audit Commission between 2004 and 2010, Martin led programmes of audit and inspection of local councils, police forces, health bodies and fire services across the country.

With qualifications and accreditations including:
Public Sector MBA, PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification, IPDS Certificate in Training Practice and a Diploma in Management Services, Martin has successfully delivered national studies, pan London projects and recently worked in Northern Ireland.
